Dr. JAVIER URZAY Aerospace Engineer (CV outdated)







I left Stanford in April 2022 and moved as a civilian to the US Space Force at the Rocket Propulsion Division, Air Force Research Laboratory, Edwards AFB, California. I also became an Air Force reserve commissioned officer in the US Space Systems Command at Los Angeles AFB, California.

This is a legacy website with archived journal papers and class notes
from my academic career (2005-2022).

High-speed, chemically reacting, multi-phase flow physics
and their engineering applications to aeronautics and astronautics,
including chemical rocket propulsion, supersonic combustion,
and hypersonic aerothermodynamics of air and space flight systems.
