Practical Reasoning and the Varieties of Agency: This is a short version (10 pages) of some of the central ideas in the first half of my thesis. I presented a version of this paper at the Pacific APA meeting in 2007.

 

Deliberation, Authority, and Caring: This is a paper I’m currently working on. I argue that caring does a better job of explaining prospective deliberation than some of the leading contenders out there: desires, value judgments, and self-governing policies.
