Jason Turner-Maier has been an avid reader of comics from an early age. He owns many, many book collections of comic strips, most notably every Calvin and Hobbes book ever printed (although his copy of Attack Of The Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons is currently at parts unknown in the blasted wasteland that is his room). He was introduced to webcomics in high school, and has since come to follow in the neighborhood of a hundred strips on a regular basis.

He currently is a sophomore at Stanford University with a prospective major in Computer Science. He has previously written research papers on employee profit sharing, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick, As You Like It by William Shakespeare, Pedro Paramo by Juan Rulfo, and other such topics. Other than reading comics, he enjoys card and board games, tennis, and being overly analytical.
