Tuning and Enhancement of IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol

Description: The project aimed at implementation of Burst Transmission Acknowledgement(BTA) mechanism in IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol in order to reduce protocol overheads. This improves performance in terms of throughput and enables higher data rates.

Ant Colony Optimization

Description: Ant Colony Optimization(ACO) is a probabilistic technique for solving computational and optimization problems. It is inspired by biological behavior of ant colonies. I worked on implementation of AntNet, an ACO algorithm for data network routing, on NS-2.

Computer Based Assignment Submission System (CBASS)

Description: An online application in perl and html with backend in mysql which aims at complete automation of submission and evaluation of assignments and projects. I also integrated it with NIS authentication mechanism in the intranet.
