Laurel Harbridge

Welcome to my home page! I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University.

My primarily field of research is American Politics, where my research interests include legislative behavior, organization, and the interplay between elections, Congress, and public policy. My dissertation examines whether bipartisanship can persist in the United States Congress under periods of high party polarization.

My secondary interests are in Methodology and Comparative Politics.
