Rock Climbing

My climbing goals: Solid 5.8 trad; solid 5.10 sport; boulder V3, by the time I'm 50 (12/19/02).

Stretching routines (from an article by Bob Anderson, Climbing Magazine, June 15, 2000)

A great amusing and educational account of the physics of the hand (by Paul Doherty)

Shut Eye Ridge (near Fresno Dome). Elevation 8000 feet, domes everywhere, no people. South Yosemite guidebook (out of print). Killer campground surrounded by excellent bouldering. Definitely need 4WD after gate. Map was obtained from Mike Arechiga.

Rock falls from Glacier Point above Camp Curry, Yosemite National Park, California (USGS). Contains great pictures and account of rockfalls.

Account of my accident 9/25/98. Published in Jed Williamson's Accidents in North American Mountaineering 1999. American Alpine Club.
