I am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University.

My research with Prof. Bernd Girod is in the area of content based image retrieval. My broad research interests are computer vision, machine learning and applications of distributed source coding.

I am currently involved in the Mobile Augmented Reality project with Nokia Research Center, Palo Alto.

I completed my B.S. in Engineering in 2005 with high honors at Harvey Mudd College. Prior to working with Nokia, I developed the hardware and software for the primary heliostat at Lockheed Martin's Solar and Astrophysics Lab in Palo Alto.
