about me
I was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1986 and lived there for 18 months before moving to the United States. We settled in Fairfax, Virginia and I have lived
there ever since. Between 2000 and 2004, I attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, commonly known as TJ and
is recognized as the best high school in the country.
After TJ, I went down to Charlottesville, Virginia, to attend the University of Virginia. There I studied Electrical Engineering and performed research
in molecular electronics in Dr. John Bean's group. Mostly through research experience, I got excited about science
and decided to pursue a Ph.D. in electical engineering, particularly nanoscience. Recently, I defended my Ph.D. in electical engineering at Stanford University after
working for the Jelena Vuckovic group .
My personal hobbies include sports, surfing, skiing, traveling, and nature.
