Dimitry's research area is the applications of decision and control systems across many industries. Recent focus is on fault diagnostics and health management of engneering systems.
His long term interest is in adding to the few mathematical methods for control and signal processing that are used in practical engineered systems. Besides his academic research and teaching, he worked in industry, as a government contractor, and as an independent consultant.
Dr. Gorinevsky contributed to automated industrial system products and aerospace services based on mathematical algorithm research.
