In my postdoctoral research I am interested in

·         optical spectroscopy of single molecules interacting with metallic nano-structures

while during my pre-doctoral research I focused on

·         Fundamental research in molecular electronics:

o        electron transport through single molecules

o        charge transfer in systems of organic molecules

·         Self-assembly phenomena at interfaces

Techniques

·         single molecule spectroscopy including fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy

·         electron beam lithography

·         scanning probe microscopies in particular scanning tunnelling and scanning force microscopy

·         photoelectron spectroscopies
