This page was created on 6 June, 2007.

This page provides a brief introduction of Tokoro to the first time visitor.

Tokoro was created by a Stanford University undergraduate named Eunice Lee who, in the past, had experienced difficulty finding the time and resources to study languages such as Japanese on her own. She created Tokoro in order to help fellow language enthusiasts learn about the Japanese language and the culture behind the language in an interactive and innovative way--completely through the Internet.

Tokoro takes advantage of the convenience and speed of the Internet in order to share learning resources with language lovers who simply cannot or do not wish to enroll in a full time class. By interacting with online Japanese instructors, students can obtain the personal attention and feedback that an in-class instructor would provide without having to attend a rigid class schedule.

Thank you for visiting Tokoro. Please browse the main links of the website and take full advantage of all of the resources Tokoro has to offer.

If you have any questions or comments about Tokoro, please contact Eunice at eunnah@mail.com.
