About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department of Stanford University. I've been working with professors Hector Garcia-Molina and Jure Leskovec as part of the InfoLab. My research interests are in the algorithms and models for mining web and social content. While at Stanford, I spent summer 2009 at Google and summer 2010 at Microsoft Research.

I'm currently on leave from Stanford to pursue a startup. Montserrat Medina and I have co-founded Qwhisper. We are working on a new search technology for social content.

You may also know me for the iPhone apps I developed. Take Me To My Car has received well over a million downloads and has been featured in BusinessWeek and New York Times. Its paid counterpart iCarPark has received less attention but is still quite popular.
