The refresher class offers tracks in the following 4 core areas:
linear algebra, analysis, discrete math, and probability/statistics.
The linear algebra and analysis tracks each have an applied and theoretical version.
The applied tracks, which focus on concepts not rigor, are intended for most engineering students.
The theoretical tracks, which prepare students for the ICME PhD core classes,
are intended for students in ICME and other disciplines looking to do theoretical work.
Each track offers 4 half-days of instruction during the orientation week.
Students take 2 non-conflicting tracks.
