The Pinnacles National Monument are a series of volcanic rock formations that are the remains of a volcano that lies 195 southeast of the monument.

The east side of the park is 5 miles off California 25.
The west side can be reached from Soledad off U.S. 101.

Our camping trip to the Pinnacles National Monument, June 1997. Cast of characters on our camping trip: Becky, Joann, Rose, Domino, Jean Luc, and yours truly. All pictures were taken by Joann Rees.

Here is a great shot of Domino and Jean-Luc trying to run away from Becky.
Now don't get the wrong impression, they both like Becky a lot. They were just looking for me!

This is NOT Rose's beanie! This little hat belongs to Becky and we
almost were thrown out of the camp ground for wearing this thing!

Here is Jo striking a pose before she
goes off on one of her hikes.

Below is a great picture that Joann took
on the Moses Spring Trail.

My boys about ready for bed, and the visit from the wild boars!
