South Bay Area Lesbian, Gay, Bi Community Center
San Jose's The Billy DeFrank Center is a great resource center for South Bay lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders. To find out more about The Center's activities, go to The Billy DeFrank Center home page.

Every Tuesday night at 7:30p.m. the South Bay Bi Organizers and Activists (SoBOA) meet at the DeFrank Center. To find out more about this group, check out SoBOA's web site.

Gay and Lesbian Marriages
On our twentieth anniversary, November 26, 1995, Rose and I decided to have a Holy Union to celebrate our many years together. It was one of the best things we ever did to let the world know that we love one another and that we are truly committed as a couple.

One of San Jose's best kept secrets is Sisterspirit Bookstore and Coffehouse. Sisterspirit has many hard to fine lesbian and gay authors in their bookstore. Plus the Sisterspirit Coffeehouse is a place of quality women-promoting entertainment at affordable prices. Sisterspirit supports women singers, comedians, poets, and writers from around the world, as well as providing a place for local women to display their talents.
