As a vampire lover, It should come as no surprise that I am a big Anne Rice fan. Anne Rice is probably best known for her Vampire Chronicles. These books are a must read for vampire lovers. Anne Rice updates the vampire lore, as we are introduced to passionate, and very human-like members of the undead.

The Vampire Chronicles
Interview With the Vampire
"Interview With the Vampire" is the first book in the Vampire Chronicles. The book details Louis's confession of his vampire experience to a boy reporter looking for interesting tales.
The Vampire Lestat
"The Vampire Lestat" is the autobiographical tale of Lestat's life that takes place over a decade before the events in Louis's story. After writing his book, Lestat decides to follow the lead of the boy reporter in "Interview With the Vampire," and publishes this book as a work of fiction under the nom de plume Anne Rice."The Vampire Lestat" is my personal favorite in the Vampire Chronicles.
The Queen of the Damned"The Queen of the Damned" is the second book by Lestat and is a sequel to "The Vampire Lestat." This book tells the tale of the history of the vampires, and how they came to exist. "The Queen of the Damned" is a fascinating story, and is likely to be the most popular book in the Vampire Chronicles.
The Tale of the Body Thief "The Tale of the Body Thief" is another book by Lestat. This book is one more Lestat adventure, this time with a mortal by the name Raglan James. The best thing about "The Tale of the Body Thief" is the reintroduction of the vampire Louis, who only briefly appears in "The Vampire Lestat" and in "The Queen of the Damned."
Memnoch the DevilLestat is the author of this book too. Lestat outlines his ordeal with The Devil and with God and his own inner struggle with good and evil.
