I am a cognitive psychololgist who researches computational approaches to collaboration and communication. Mostly I think about how people manage to assume the perspectives of other people -- if they manage to at all -- and the details of how those perspectives get distributed among people who are trying to communicate. Then I try to figure out if we can ever get machines to do this. If you have an answer to this problem, please give me a call.
