-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) This week, the assignment for your independent project is the usual: 3 hours/week divided across various materials and tasks. Think about what we discussed this week regarding vocabulary (explore Anki and/or Quizlet if you'd like), and include a short rewatching of one of your clips from two or more weeks ago.
2) The individual meeting this week is once again optional--sign up if you want one; otherwise, I'll provide feedback on your reports through Canvas.
3) Review the links on the sound system in (V) about linking and reduced forms.
4) Finish Groundhog Day before the next class on 5/19. Pause and rewind as needed when you get lost or want to review something to understand it better. Use the captions as needed, but turn them off or block them at least part of the time. Once you've finished the movie, you can go back and review it as part of your independent project this week or next. The movie is currently streaming free on Netflix (if you have a subscription--https://www.netflix.com/title/563104) or can be rented through a number of other sources: see https://decider.com/movie/groundhog-day/.
