PhotoSpread is software developed through a collaboration between the Stanford Computer Science Department and the Biological Sciences Department. 

 

It is designed to fill a lacuna in current image databasing software; PhotoSpread enables users to rapidly assign metadata to large numbers of photographs.  PhotoSpread can also perform mathematical computations over metadata.
