aged 25, when he was 'found not guilty and discharged on 14 October 1841, (along with Thomas SHUKER, aged 26) of assaulting Alexander DIMMACK on the highway in the night of the 9th October 1841 at Bilston, putting him in bodily fear and danger of his life, and stealing from his person and against his will, eight half-crowns and five shilling in silver coin...'
