To
date, The RATHBONE Register
includes: over 17,000 births/baptisms, over 10,000 marriages, and deaths/burials. Each birth/baptism record is, where possible,
linked with details of the parents, marriage(s) and details
of the spouse, death/burial, and information regarding census
records (1841-1911), probate and family history.
I have recently been working through the marriage registrations 1837-2005 to identify the names of nearly all the female spouses of the male RATHBONEs.
Census:
1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1891, 1901 and, most recently 1911.
UK
Civil Registrations:
registrations in the name of RATHBONE (and some variations)
have been collected for births, marriages and deaths 1837-2005:
and more than 75% of these have been identified and are placed
in family trees.
Other research:
is ongoing with parish registers, bishop's transcripts, wills,
the IGI index, census records and other historical and archival
sources in the England, and the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

10,000 individuals.

own RATHBONE family comes from the parishes of Tarvin, Kelsall
and Delamere, Cheshire. Recent developments on the RATHBONE DNA Project have linked this branch to the Astbury/Congleton family in the 16th century.
