Welcome to my web page. I am a Consulting Assistant Professor in the Dept of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University and my primary research interest is in the development and application of numerical methods to simulate fluid flows related to aerospace vechicles. Currently, I am spending a good deal of my time towards numerical error estimation and uncertainty quantification in computational fluid dynamic formulations with a specific focus on high-speed flows.

I am interested in fluid dynamic modelling at a fundamental level as well as in an integrated system-level setting. Typical application areas include aerodynamics and aeroacoustics for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, wind turbines, and hypersonic cruise vehicles. I am also interested in several aspects of turbulence modeling and simulation.

My primary research affiliation at Stanford is with the Aerospace Design Lab  and I also work very closely with the folks at the Center for Turbulence Research.
