rise upon gentle wings
And across the sky

that which will only pass away.
Pray always for God's gentle
touch which will ever light your path
with love.

Trust is the bridge between two souls.

The sunset of your needs shall
be the sunrise of your fulfillment.

I have been given the key to my
destiny,
But it remains mine to unlock the
door.

awaiting its freedom.

Vengeance is a stain upon the
purity of one's soul.

The Rolling Thunder Across The Land
A nation's cry
A people's tear
Broken dreams upon the wind

Personality is the mask behind
which an overshy soul remains hidden.
*******
When each heart aches with
another's tear,
When each soul rejoices with
another's smile,
Truly shall then the world
be one.

To argue with a jackass,
is to become yourself his next of kin.
*******
Knowledge that embraces love's
tender touch becomes known as Wisdom.
*******
We are the prisoners of an
illusion, shackled by the impurity
of our own thoughts.
*******
Wise is he who faces the frailty
of man with the strength of an
understanding heart.
*******
Judge you not the righteous nor
the profane,
For each shall answer unto himself
alone.

Our Father forgives us daily;
how is it, that we cannot?
*******
Birth and death are the twins
of Eternity,
And often do we mistake one for
the other.

I peered into my Past,and
saw my Future longingly gazing
back.

Each shall hear according to
his need.
Therefore be not harsh with
your brother's belief.

The seed that curses its painful
birth grows not to flower,but withers
with hate.
The seed that blesses its own
sorrowing, overcomes the pain to bear
the most sacred of fruit.

Lies are the clothing of shallow souls.
*******
If a man could see the images
created thru the mist of his desires,
Would he not be more careful of
the fleeting idle thought?

Modesty is the child of Greatness.
*******
Happiness seeks solitude when
Misery seeks company.
*******
Who can seperate the waters from
the stream?
For water is life unto its host,
but without a course
stagnates unto death.

Anger is the Devil's laughter.
*******
A loveless marriage is the bond
of adultery.
*******
Passion is the sacred fruit
that feeds a marriage.
It is the tenderness of all
things between lovers,
and the gift that both
husband and wife bestow upon
each other.

Mockery is a form of ignorance;
silence, a form of wisdom.
*******
I walk with the multitude,yet
alone am I in their midst.
*******
To be overmindful of your brother's
sins, is to be unforgiving of his virtues.
*******
Fear is man's only enemy, Love is
his only salvation.
*******
Thought is the parent to Joy and Sorrow.
*******
Does it not grieve the Masters,
that you remember the greatness of
their names, and not the humbleness
of their words?

Beware of those who speak with
religious conviction, but lack the
tolerance of love.
*******
Woe be it to he who hears the
voice of Truth, but bends the words
to fancy his own ears.
*******
I see the world thru the loving
eyes of my heart, and suffer the pain
of unfulfilled visions.

All across the World, hope is
rising up and upon the wind, I hear
the whisperings of Peace.

Would that I could, with a loving
word,lift your spirit from the depths
of despair, and heal your being with
silent prayer.

Do not sow weeds, expecting
flowers to bloom.
*******
Foolish is he who washes his
garment and bathes not his soul.
*******
Rather that I dwell in the most
humble of homes than the grandest of
houses.
*******
Fear nothing, save the untamed
wrath of your soul.
*******
Love is the glowing ember that
smolders with desire and sets the
unsuspecting heart ablaze with passion.
*******
You are the creator of your own
destiny;
For every man is a universe unto
himself.

Let me rejoice with your Joy and
weep with your Sorrow;
But make me not the Keeper of either.

Those of little faith shall
remain content with the smallness
of their dreams, until the strength
of the soul gathers yet more daring.

A wise man once said that Yesterday's
tomorrow is Tomorrow's yesterday.
But I am not wise, and therefore
know only of Today.

Let not your love for humanity be
less than God's love for you.
Let not the waves of worldly
intolerance drown out your compassion for
their ignorance.

Sad is the life of the Prophet;
For to remain silent is to torture
the spirit of his soul,
And to speak invites the murderous
ridicule of the world.

Is it not sad, that brutality and
greed rule a world conceived of love and
compassion?
*******
The world is the blossom of our
every desire;
Our thoughts, the seeds of all that
shall ever rise from her hidden depths.
*******
The accuser shall stand accused
in the temple of the soul.
*******
The thought expressed thru the
chain of words shall remain yet half
a revelation;
For Truth is but the song of an angel,
set to the music of the heart.

Is not the commandment,
'THOU SHALT NOT TAKE THE LORD'S NAME IN VAIN'
also a promise?
*******
Downtrodden is he who would pack
his troubles upon his back,
For indeed the weight of the world
rests upon his shoulders.
*******
Your deepest longings are rooted
in Heaven,
That they might come to bloom upon
the Earth.
*******
Lazy are those who would leave their
woes upon your doorstep, as an abandoned
child, for you to lovingly nurse back into
health.
*******
It is the blessing of all mankind to
believe in God.
But it remains his curse not to understand
the secret of his own beliefs.
*******
Do not laugh at those unknowing, but
rather weep for those who understand and yet
act not accordingly.
*******
He listened unto all, spoke unto many,
and was understood by few.
*******
Condemn not your brother's religion,
for is it not enough that he believes?
*******
Often are you the archer of thoughtless
arrows that seek to wound your preying heart.
Better would it be, to cast those poisoned
arrows from the quiver of your soul, broken unto
the ground.

If it is indeed a sin to speak ill of the
dead,
Is it not also a sin to speak ill of the
living?
*******
Jealousy is the unfounded fear of loss.
*******
Money is not the root of all evil,
for evil is rooted in mankind's darkest
thought.

Accept not the gift of another's misery,
for it holds no value.
*******
The soul shall lead you unto laughter
whenever you tend to take yourself too
seriously.
*******
Stand under serenity's umbrella, as
the rains of life come raging down.
*******
It has been written that Jesus died
for the sins of the world;
Aye, he died for the sin of ignorance.
*******
Is he who cannot see more blind than
he who will not see?
*******
May your life be filled with joy,
may your world be filled with love.
*******
I will bring to you love, never
sadness,
Laughter and joy, never tears.
I will bring to you moments of
gladness
And happiness thru the years.

I am every man's
Father, Son and Brother.
*******
I am a Pillar of Light,
but I am not the Pillar,
nor the Light.
*******
I yearn for that which only I can give.
*******
I have seen an ageless wisdom in the
eyes of a child;
And beheld the hidden foolishness in
the eyes of a man.

To he that dwellth in the Light,
all things are possible.
*******
The strength of God's boundless love
sustains me in this, my hour of need
*******
Timeless is Truth, with only the words
conveying its tenderness to change thru passing
ages.
*******
Pity, that mankind still measures strength
by the ability to destroy, rather than by the
capacity to love.
*******
There is no ending to Life,
only greater beginnings.
*******
As you are the salt of the earth,
so are you its soul.
*******
Trust not the weasel to protect
the fledglings of your nest.
*******
Many would ask in the silence of
fear if man's destiny lies in its final
throws of death.
But my heart ever answers, nay oh
children of Life, it is only the pains
of birth pressing down upon humanity's
soul.

To believe in Life is to have power
over Death.
*******
Give to me your love,
but never your pity;
For love contains the sharing of sorrows,
where pity is naught but an empty emotion.
*******
There is no love, save for the
love of God.
*******
You believe, but you do not understand.
You worship with righteous ritual, yet daily
do you mock the very Spirit you pretend to
hold sacred.
*******
He that hates you, is he that fears
you.
He that loves you, is he that understands
you.
*******
Be at peace with your soul, that none
may draw you into the battle of appearances.
*******
As a man gives away his daughter in marriage,
he fulfills his sacred promise as a Father.
And as he walks her down the aisle,
his Sorrow and his Joy walk with him.
His Sorrow weeps within,
remembering the day of her birth,
her first step and now her last
with him alone.
His Joy keeps pace also and glows upon his face,
knowing that Life tarries not and that Love
springs forever eternal.

Within the silence of my soul
dwells the Kingdom of Heaven.
Within the love of my heart
lies my salvation.
*******
Selflessness becomes shy in
the face of praise.
*******
As the water falls from stony heights,
so shall my tears flow from the wellspring of
my heart.
As the wind lives upon the wings of the
sky, so shall my thoughts seek the solitude of
Love.
As the mountains are carved by the loving
hand of God, so shall my soul be shaped into the
beauty of Pureness.

Anticipation is the sweet seasoning of Life,
and Patience savors the taste.
*******
Make not money your god, nor status
your aim.
Make compassion your watchword and
Humble your name.
*******
The valleys we walk,
the mountains we climb
Seem to be endless
as we travel through time.
Our souls are challenged,
leaving our bodies so drained
Only to be tested
time and again.
Surrounded by fear,
our faith must shine bright
To lead others from darkness
and into the Light.

Though we have not met,
I know you.
Though we are but strangers,
I trust you.
And though we walk upon separate paths,
I love you;
For I have seen beneath the mask you
now wear and know you for what
you are.

I hold myself above no other man,
and I shall not pretend to be his better.
Nor shall I be a slave unto any man
or bow to any earthly power;
For I am a king without a kingdom
as I am a servant without a master.

The path of my days ascend the highest
mountains, in search of the spring from
which all rivers begin their flow;
While yours takes you deep into yonder
valleys, where white-watered streams meet
and still their wild and raging quest.
Peaceful are your valleys, clothed in
a silver lace of morning dew,
And mighty are my mountains as they
wait to greet still a greater dawn.
And as the sun gives birth to yet
another day, I standing at the summit
of my path shall see only the golden
bands of Life flooding down into your valleys;
but you, standing in the depth of your days
shall be blinded to all save the crowning
Light cast upon my mountain's crest.

The power of the prophet is nothing more
than to see the wind that you and I now
only hear.
And as we wake, clearing our eyes of
last night's dream,
We too shall stand in the Light, gazing
upon the wind,
that only a moment ago was hidden
from our view.

Weep not for me when I pass from the
eyes of this world;
For it is only the deeper yearning of
my wandering-self that draws me
away from you and invokes me to
climb still higher mountains.
And think not that the temple that
housed me or the mask that protected
me from prying eyes was the essence
of my Being;
For we shall meet again,
and together we will lay the stones of
yet a finer temple and fashion but a
more revealing mask of clay.

Each is a beloved seed of the Eternal Flower;
as we love the Flower, so must we also love
the seed.
*******
Not all the lessons in Life can be learned
thru academic endeavor.
Esteemed schools of thought can
impart knowledge to the aspiring
student but never wisdom.
Many are those in this world who,
while being illiterate, have attained
a degree of spiritual awareness and
wisdom unmatched by the scholars
who would simply collect knowledge.

Blessed are those who thirst
for Knowledge,
Thriced blest are those who weave
Knowledge into Wisdom upon the
loom of Love.
*******
The success of a man is not measured
by the strength of his position or
the power of his money;
but rather by the amount of Love
that he generously commands.
*******
It is not the events or achievements
of your life that are important
but rather your reaction to them.
*******
That which we suffer shall serve to make
us lovingly compassionate towards the
suffering of others.
*******
Are the monstrous sins of one who knows
not the Father greater than the tiny sins
of the one that knows the Truth?
*******
The Master came to cut the pattern,
but it remains ours to sew the
cloth;
And Love shall be our needle
as Patience will be our thread.
*******
Prayer is the door into the
infinite Mystical Temple.
*******
The God of Religion lives within
the dogmas of man,
while the God of Spirit quietly
resides deep within the recesses
of your own soul.
Therefore, listen only to the still
small voice from within and you
shall be delivered from the path of
belief and come to intimately know
the Eternal Truth.

The essence of your Being resides for
a time within a physical body
but that body is not you.
Think of your body as you would
your house.
It is where you live for a time,
but it is not you.
It may take on certain aspects of your
personality
but those are only reflections
of the one who decorates empty walls.
To the best of your ability,
you keep your house clean and in good repair
and even so there are times when the
roof will leak.
Those who come and knock upon your door,
come not to visit your house
but rather to see the friend who resides within.
We cannot love a house,
but truly can we love its owner...
...YOU.

The greatest joy that any heart
may contain is the smile of
another's understanding.

When the three wise men
Hope, Faith, and Love
go forth to find the source
of God's shining star...
behold a miracle occurs
from within...
the birth of The Christ Child
and the soul is forever changed.

Enlightenment is not a destination
but rather the journey itself.
*******
Life is sweet and Life is good,
when we live Life as we should;
but the Path is bitter and sometimes cruel
when we live Life as a fool.
*******
Alone must each one
seek the salvation of Love
for it to take full reign
and lead the soul towards
its own perfection.
*******
Even our suffering is for our
ultimate good;
and as we rise out of the ashes
of our own despair,
the soul is enriched with the
compassion for all who suffer.

Minute by minute,
thought by thought
do we create our own future;
and so balance the scales of
the Universal Law of Love.
*******
It is in our aloneness
that we recognize our oneness,
even as the single droplet of water
knows also that it is the sea.
*******
The turning point of Life
sometimes comes as the
tide of the sea,
slowly washing smooth the pebble
on its shore;
or in a torrent
that storms into one's life as
a blinding flash.
Neither way is greater,
only needed for that
soul's growth.

It is in the sharing of the little things of life
that the greatness of God is revealed.
*******
Speak silence unto the ear of the zealot,
for there are no words, other than his own,
that will ever appease his righteousness.
*******
If you gaze at Life with tender eyes,
the tenderness of Love is returned to you;
but if you can only look with the hardness of contempt,
your eyes will find naught but Life's stony stare.

The Past can only be healed
by living in the Present.
*******
I know only that I do not know.
*******
Humility stands between
the physician and the healer.
One believes that he is the
god of healing,
while the other knows that he is
only the instrument
of God's healing.

The spoken language has a rhythm that is arrested by the ear,
interpreted by the mind and given to the soul.
The written language has a more powerful vibration,
as it can speak directly to the ears of the soul.
*******
Within each one of us lies the Eternal Truth,
hidden beneath immeasurable layers of perception,
carried down through the age of incarnations.
As the petals of the rose slowly unfold to reveal its secret,
so it is also with our own level of awareness.
The words we use to convey this consciousness are merely
shadows of the Eternal Truth,
and each one expresses this in their own unique way.
The gift I give is through the written language,
but if I were to try and reveal this through the spoken word,
I would stumble before you...
...unable to express the vibration of Truth within.
The inner knowledge you possess is different
only in its expression.

Truth is oft times clothed in simplicity.
*******
Rather to be a sailor on a seaworthy vessel
than the captain of a sinking ship.
*******
The Love of God
unlocks the door of opportunity,
but it remains ours alone
to open that door with Faith.
*******
Our awareness grows not as a reed
but rather unfolds as the rose...
in all directions, at all times.
*******
The truly good have no need to
prop up their integrity with the
babble of words.
*******
As we offer the helpfulness of Unconditional Love to those in need,
we must not try to direct the course that is taken as a result
of that helpfulness...
We can help the butterfly to understand that it has the wings to fly,
but the direction it takes lies beyond our own understanding.

Life is the lesson we live until we become our soul.
*******
We shall walk hand in hand
upon the path of Spirit,
not of religion...
the path of Love,
not of rules...
the path of the Christ,
not of the christian.

The one who tells you to follow, for he knows the Way,
is lost.
The one who tells you that you are in danger of going astray,
is himself the danger to avoid.
*******
Does the bird know how he is able to fly
or does he simply fly?
In your knowledge of God and yourself,
be as the bird and simply be.
*******
All families must become
one family...
the family of Tolerance.
All nations must become
one nation...
the nation of Brotherhood.
All religions must become
one religion...
the religion of Love.
