THE GIFT

Though we be apart,
we are but a heartbeat away.
I have come to share a Truth
upon this blessed day.
In the darkness sat Man,
alone and separated from all that once belonged to him;
and there appeared before Man,
the Gift that was his before the descent into
Ignorance.
And the Gift spoke unto Man...
"I am yours to name and to use,
and that which I am is of your
own free will."
And Man named the Gift...
POWER

Thus, did Man gain dominion over the world
and out of Power was fire created to serve the
needs of Man.
But in his ignorance, Man grew frightened of the
Power that he possessed but could not comprehend
and the fires of Ignorance consumed Man,
enslaving him,
to become the master of his needs.
And again the Gift stood before him
and spoke unto Man...
"I am yours to name and to use,
and that which I am is of your
own free will."
And Man named the Gift...
KNOWLEDGE

Thus, Man gained the understanding to harness the
gift of Power and together did Knowledge and Power
become the servants of Man.
But Man became enchanted with his own creations
and so Arrogance arose as master,
to seize Man's desires,
holding him captive with the golden chains of grandeur.
But there came a day when Man grew weary of his own creations
and he found himself restless within the arrogance of his
own knowledge and he thought within himself...
"There must be more to the existence of Man
than Power and Knowledge."
And the Gift appeared before him
and spoke unto Man...
"I am yours to name and to use,
and that which I am is of your
own free will."
And Man named the Gift...
LOVE

Thus Ignorance and Arrogance were vanquished from the Throne of Being
and Love took its rightful place within the heart of Man.
Through Love was Wisdom born to guide the hand of Knowledge
and Goodness was made manifest with the Power of Man's very thought.
No longer did Man sit in the darkness with
Ignorance and Arrogance blinding his way;
Bathed in the Light did he sit,
contemplating the separate aspects of the Gift
that Man might unravel the greatest of mysteries.
But it was not until Man saw the reflection of his own Wholeness
that he could understand the Perfection of the Gift.
And Man spoke aloud the Truth of his Gift...
"Of what use is Power without the knowledge
to harness its force?
Of what use is Knowledge without the wisdom
to direct its path?
Of what use is Wisdom, if it is given
without love?
Of what use is Love if it lacks the power
to manifest Itself in all that we
think, say or do?"
