The Intelligent Energy Systems and Devices MSEE cuts across traditional Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Power Engineerig. The Stanford MSEE integrates different aspects of these areas to prepare students for future carriers in academia or IT, systems, and semiconductor industries specializing in energy efficiency and electrical energy system design and analysis.
Intelligent Energy Systems are connected, context aware adaptive systems that optimize, control, and manage energy services at the system, building, microgrid, and Grid levels.
Intelligent Energy Devices are componets that improve energy efficiency, controlability, and managability.
