Medical Images to Geometric Models

What is this page about?

In Winter 2005 I started working on the project of making an image-to-model pipeline for the Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab at Stanford. The images are volumetric medical data from MRI scans, which we would like to segment in order to construct geometric models of human muscles, bones, and cartilage. I have developed tools for NA-MIC's Slicer software package, primarily its manual image editor, to make the package practical for use in musculoskeletal biomechanics research in NMBL.

All documentation and my own recently built Slicer packages are available on the SimTK.org Slicer page. Another relevant page is my NA-MIC user page.
