Welcome to the blog of Can Sar, a Stanford CS major. This blog is made up of my thoughts on Computer Science and the computer industry, as well as ever exciting tales from my life.
Few of you can understand how obsessed my dad is with his Canon 10D. There is no denying that the camera is one of the best hobby digital cameras out there. Today I rediscovered Robert Love's Blog, after wondering why he didn't post anything for several months (he changed servers). I then stumbled upon this post.
I remember Miguel carrying around a large digital SLR camera during VM '04, but did not know it was a 10D. Since yesterday I myself am starting to enjoy taking pictures with the 10D, rather than my own Canon Digital IXUS. Because of this, my dad took and I trip to a nearby forrest/Zoo (a forest where dear and wild hogs roam semi-freely) and I took about 50 pictures in just one hour. This spring I will probably take Art Studio 17: Photography for Non-Majors.
Just so you know, that class is Really hard to get into. I think only about half or a third of the people get in (they rejected me...). Also, they don't allow you to use a digital camera, because they want you to learn how to develop film. While the class is for non-majors, it is still a pretty serious (and time-consuming) photography class.
Cool camera, though.
And I look forward to seeing you in less than a week!! Wheee!!!
