P2P at Stanford

Apparently there is a lot of P2P research going on at Stanford, which is highly interesting. P2P is an issue which is highly important to me, but that I know far too little about (especially discovery and security). Professor Garcia-Molina and his PhD students Neil Daswani and Beverly Yang are doing a lot of research on this issue, and I will keep up with their work in the future. It turns out there is even a website about people at Stanford who are interested in P2P. The more I dig into what is going on at Stanford, the more I am starting to see how much amazing work is being done in Systems. I also got a positive response from Dawson Engler on doing CS 199 in the fall, and I will find out the details of this on Friday.
