Welcome to the blog of Can Sar, a Stanford CS major. This blog is made up of my thoughts on Computer Science and the computer industry, as well as ever exciting tales from my life.
As work goes, this weekend has been crazy. We submitted our CS 147 project proposal today, and Eric set up a great website. Travis and me made good progress on CS 143. I finished the first half of the 143 problemset, and the second part requires information from Tuesday's lecture. We are finished with everything but let, errors and precedence. Let is turning out to be quite difficult, and unfortunately I will not have too much time to work on it during the week, except Thursday afternoon. I hope Travis will be able to do it, and that I will find some time to work on it too.
CS 242 seems difficult and even though I understand the material well, the programming assignments seem very hard. I hope I will be able to do this week's assignment tomorrow. I am not too worried about the E40 problemset, but I am worried about Friday's midterm, because I think I did quite poorly. I should do fine once we get to Digital Electronics, but the time till the might be difficult.
I also went to Jasmine's party yesterday, and had a lot of fun, but I left early, which I shouldn't have done, cause people were having fun.
In more surprising news, our CS 147 group partner Robb dropped the class this evening. Our group now consists of Eric, Tristan and me, and we are quite confident that we will do well on the class. CS 147 is lots of fun.
Today has also been a day of great Music. I have been listening to other people's play lists, and iTunes is spreading like a wild fire. I am trying out music by different bands, both stuff that I liked and had forgotten (2Unlimited), and did not really like in the past (ATB), which helps with copying with these insane amounts of work. I somehow always manage not getting nervous till Tuesday, when I usually have so much work that I start worrying. Hopefully I will be able to avoid that this time around. I have also been listening to lots of Dido lately, mainly because it makes me think of Nora, and makes me look forward to winter, where I can listen to it together with her.
