Can's Debate Lessons for Debating Can

I have had so many arguments and debates with people today, that I'm really tired. I always end up caring too much about what happens which leaves me with this weird feeling of incompleteness. Therefore, I want to tell you two things everyone should keep in mind when debating. Remember, that these are simple rules I spontaneously wrote down. If you disagree with the specifics, that is fine, but they are meant to be semi-funny, so don't nitpick:
You are Wrong!
Face it, no matter how smart you are, nobody has the exact solution to a problem. Feel free to disagree with people, but remember, that neither of your opinions is the right one. I usually get stuck in the middle between two people arguing against each other, and both sides accuse me of being biased towards the other side. The truth is usually in between.
Cool Down
Don't get too emotional in arguments, it really doesn't help, especially when you like the person you are debating/arguing with. I've had so many conversations today were people made random accusations while I was just played devil's advocate, and showed them some inconsistencies in their thinkins, or informed them about other opinions.

I much prefer the rules "I'm Right!" and "Go Away!" But, it appears that you take a much nicer approach to debating--for that, I salute you.

Good tips indeed, Cansar. Who knew Austrians had such pearls of wisdom. Does Arnold know these things too?
