Dragon's Book and Indian Food

After trying to get the Dragon's book (Compilers: Principle, Techniques, and Tools) unsuccessfully for a week, I finally got it today. I have not had enough time to read it yet, but from the table of constants it looks fascinating. While at the bookstore I also looked at the textbook for Earth Systems 10, which I will take next quarter. The class is a moderately easy 5 units, and satisfies my science requirement. It also covers an area that I have not paid much attention to before, with the notable exception of reading Al Gore's book on the environment. The course covers Geology, the Ocean, the Atmosphere, and other things I would like to learn about once before graduating. I am looking forward to the class, but for now, my current classes are more important.
I finished the first written assignment for CS 143, which leaves me with 2 E 40 problemsets, a CS 143 program, that is allmost finished, and a CS 242 problemset. I think I will be able to finish all of them without too much difficulty, but it will still be a lot of work, especially because my first midterm is next Friday.
I have to study and do some practice finals next week, and I need to do reading for for CS 143, even though Travis and me are doing well in the class.

In other news I decided against watching "Kill Bill" tonight, in favor of watching it tomorrow and going to an Indian restaurant with Doug and Sara. It should be fun.
