Work, Work, Work

Today I first started working on my CS 140 Threading assignment. I read the roadmaps and several papers and have been reading through code for the last few hours. For now we only have to look at synchronization, scheduling, threading, mailbox and thread switching classes, but there are still a lot of details to work out.
Reading the code is great, and I mostly understand what's going on, but I am not yet sure what we have to do to get the assignment to work. Travis already set up CVS and a message board to talk about the project, so we are basically ready to start.

Mafia yesterday was great. We had some nice games, though the Mafia never actually won. Also, Joanna made a really risky move by falsly coming out as the sheriff in the first round, which could have been fun, but got her killed the next round.

My other classes are doing fine I'm finished with the reading for CS 147 and CS 242, and will work on my E40 problemset some time this evening. For now I'm heading to the bookstore to get some stuff for hanging up posters and pictures.
