Leaving for Paris Tomorrow

We finally managed to go to Mont St. Michel today, and it was quite an experience. First of all let me say that it reminded me of Minas Mirth (or Minas Morgul?) or whatever else the mountain that Gondor was located on in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King was killed. My theory is that Tolkien was definitely influenced by this mountain.
Anyway, the weather was foggy at first and there were hundreds of people trying to push their way through the narrow streets. We arrived at low tide, which made for a wonderful view of the surrounding beach and most of our time in the cathedral was spent enjoying the view from the top. The church itself was not too interesting, I've definitely seen better, but the location is great. After we got down from the mountain we went to the sea, were we saw a sea lion, took pictures, and witnessed how some biologist and police officers, pushed it back into the sea and then shocked it with a tazer. Apparently getting close to humans is dangerous for them, so it had to be shown that humans are evil: I think it got the message.
At around that time the wind got stronger and turned into a minor sand-storm, which wreaked havoc upon our contact-lens wearing eyes. We finally managed to get into the bus, to take the 2,5 hour trip back to Dinan. There we had baguette with tomatoes and goat-cheese for dinner, the latter tastes exactly like a goat smells, which is not good at all. Next time we're going to buy baguette with tomatoes and mozarella.
Tomorrow we will be on the train to Paris, where we might have web access, or not. We will see - till then.
