Welcome to the blog of a Stanford CS major. Please give me feedback on the new design, and ideas on what to call this blog .
Today was an unbearably hot day. We got up early and then walked to the bus station for 40 minutes. We had to hurry, because the walk was a lot longer than expected. The bus ride was about an hour long, but we both enjoyed watching the scenery. St. Malo has a nice historical city center, that is surrounded by thick walls and located right at the ocean. Today there was market day and the entire town looked like one big bazar, people were selling so many things on the street. We really enjoyed the historic feeling of the place, and being next to the sea was great too. Around noon the temperature started rising rapidly and forced us to stay in the shade for most of the time. We finally found a super market and bought food and drink for the next few days, which was crucial - water is precious with this kind of weather. We came back to Dinan at around seven PM, and carried our selves and several heavy bags to a nice Pizza place (note: Pizza place in France: nice restaurant that happens to serve Pizza). Walking back from Dinan to the hostel is starting to get exhausting, but I guess the extra excercise wont hurt. But all the walking; combined with the heat definitely made us both very very tired. Tomorrow will probably (hopefully) entail less walking.
