Blogging from Dinan, France

Hello World! I am writing this with a keyboard that is causing me considerable difficulty: Instead of qwerty, this is a "azerty" keyboard where every button is confusing. We arrived in Stansted, England yesterday and stayed in a Bed & Breakfast, that was in a 15th century farmhouse. We took a 5 mile walk to the nearest city, Bishops Stortford, where we bought food. We were so exhausted we had to take the bus back. We flew to Dinard this morning, took a taxi to the nearest bus station, and then waited for the bus for 5 hours. Apparently buses don't go on Sundays anymore. In the end we were saved by a miracle/ Our old taxi driver showed up and told us he would take us for free! The French are great! Our hostel is in an old mill, but we have a double room, and this computer has free internet access. It is an old IBM, running fvwm on Linux. I'm still baffled by the weirdness of finding such a computer in the middle of the French countryside. Unfortunately, the monitor is tinted yellow. In the evening we went to the inner city of Dinan (a walk of 20-30) minutes up a hill, had dinner and walked around a bit. Tomorrow we are going to Saint Malo for the day. Stay tuned for more travel themed updates.
