Welcome to the blog of a Stanford CS major. Please give me feedback on the new design, and ideas on what to call this blog .
This is mainly for you HTML monkeys out there. TheCodingMonkeys recently released a new version of Hydra that includes a new feature called Web Preview.
Web Preview uses the Safari rendering engine to render an HTML file you are editing, and updates the changes automatically, or upon saving - you choose. This means that it is no possible to see every change made to an HTML document without using a cumbersome WYSISYG HTML editor like Frontpage. I will definitely use this for my future HTML editing, and will probably not buy Dreamweaver because of it.
This is the best update ever!! I always am torn between Hydra and Dreamweaver, simply because with Hydra I used to have to always save what I did, then change to Safari or Camino to previow what the changes I made actually did, but Dreamweaver's such a freaking huge application that it's a pain to use. Now Hydra's preview is so simple/easy, and really well-integrated into the application. It's even better than Dreamweaver! I love it!

It's probably for the best that I can't use Hydra because then I'd go crazy or something.

Did you know Terry Winograd (Bringing Design to Software) is at Stanford? He's a really cool guy and if you wanted to learn more about whatever it is he's writing about, he'd be super easy to talk to. And he does work with the iRoom... Which has the iTable... and iStuff... coolness.
Nora's grandmother sounds Awesome. It's so much fun to meet people's cool relatives!!
Enjoy France!!!!
