Today was the first day of my driving course. For now it is just three hours of theory a day, which is really simple and really boring. My first real driving lesson is on Monday, which is mildly exciting. Overall, the whole driver's license thing is just annoying. I've been to the doctor 3 times, have to take a lesson on First-Aid, 2 weeks of theory, 3 preliminary tests, one final theory test, 9 2 hour driving lessons, 1 practical driving test, 3 post-license lessons. All of this is spread out till September, because of complications with our trip to France and various timing restrictions imposed by the government.
I'm looking forward to having my license, but the recquired amount of bureaucracy is just stupid.
