Welcome to the blog of Can Sar, a Stanford CS major. This blog is made up of my thoughts on Computer Science and the computer industry, as well as ever exciting tales from my life.
According to this BBC article Kew Gardens in London were given World Heritage Status by the United Nations. The reason I mention this, is because I went there when I was in London 9 years ago and still remember the experience. So if you happen to be in London for a few days (like me and Nora this August) go and visit it, especially the Prince of Whales Exhibit, which has had the name longer than the current Prince has been alive (just to show that it's not named after him). This exhibit features ten plants and animals from ten different climatic regions complete with their corresponding climates (from cold to really really warm). You can find some pictures at the BBC's gallery or this Google image search.
