Welcome to the blog of Can Sar, a Stanford CS major. This blog is made up of my thoughts on Computer Science and the computer industry, as well as ever exciting tales from my life.
I made this a lot shorter, because I didn't want to ramble on for too long.
Yesterday quite a few people got mad at me for various reasons. I believe that people should have opinions about things and believe in those. I beleve that people should question those opinions and beliefs, and have them questioned by others, in order to possibly improve them or be strenghtened in them. I believe that such discussions should be civil, and that I often get too personal in such discussions, especially when I am discussing them with my friends. I also believe that either the majority of people do not care much about the state of the world, that there is a strong force of people who oppose improvment, or that disagreement between people is hindering the process of improving life on this planet. Though this last sentence could be elaborated for pages and pages, I want to keep it short.
Yesterday and today I have argued enough for quite some time. It is time to do some constructive things. I hope that those people I argued with understand.
I am now sitting outside in the sun, typing on my laptop using wireless. Although this is my parents house and not my own, doing this was still always one of my biggest dreams, even before wireless existed. I am happy.
