Welcome to the blog of Can Sar, a Stanford CS major. This blog is made up of my thoughts on Computer Science and the computer industry, as well as ever exciting tales from my life.
I visited my old high school/middle school today. It was a weird experience, mainly because it was the last day of finals for seniors and everyone was busy. I met the headmaster and my old head teacher and they were both excited to see me, but didn't have that much time. They invited me to the graduation ceremony tomorrow, to talk to all my old teachers afterwards, or maybe even give a speech, but it still seemed like something was missing. I guess I was awaiting something like a royal welcome, which was obviously unrealistic.
I feel oddly disconnected from my high school time, though not from my high school friends. I achieved everything I wanted in high school, and I think I was expecting to return for those few minutes in order to get some praise about how successful I was. Yet, in the end that is something that only I myself can know, and that noone else can tell me.
