Lots of Events & Lots of Studying
I have not been posting lately because some things have happened to some of my friends and I was not sure whether I should write about them. I also have tons of work to do, but Lora complained about the outdatedness of my blog.
This blog has always been veering between technical and personal postings and I have finally come to the conclusion that I will leave both of them in here. I might at some time in the future exclude the personal category from the main index, but it will stay here for now. My ideas and projects are closely linked to my personal life, and I believe that they are both important.
- Mafia
- I played over 17 hours of Mafia this weekend. I am now really good at knowning when people lie or act suspiciously and doing both of these without others noticing. Though Mafia might seem like something that might isolate people from each other, it has really helped me get to know my friends better.
- Online Mafia
- I am now going to start working on the online Mafia site. This also seems like the perfect excuse to buy either Macromedia Studio MX or Photoshop elements. Hm, 200$ versus 50$, though decision. This should be a bit challenging, but really interesting.
- Finals
- I am finally finished with CS 107 and my IHUM essay. Now there's only CS 103B on Wednesday morning. I am not really motivated, but I will study anyway, and am planning to do well.
- Loro Friends
- I have been hanging out with friends from Loro a lot. I am really sad that I didn't know Tammy, Emma, Sara and Kat Narver well, until the last 2 weeks of the year. Sara is our RA and has her own blog. Although all the RAs are cool, Sara is the most sarcastic and awesome. Tammy is as loud as people get, yesterday she allmost broke Sara's windshield when she screamed. Kat is in band and lived in Denmark for a year. Emma is half English and half Norwegian, which is quite cool.
- Summer
- Only four more days till I am in Vienna with Nora. I will miss my friends from here, but no words can describe how happy I am about seeing Nora again.
