Welcome to the blog of Can Sar, a Stanford CS major. This blog is made up of my thoughts on Computer Science and the computer industry, as well as ever exciting tales from my life.
After I finish finals I will finally take the time to improve the design of my weblog, add links, write my own CSS, adhere to accessibility guidelines, and start updating it more often. I really like blogging, especially now that most of my friends have blogs. I need to find out on how to write Moveable type templates, that read from a file, because I want to have file of links to blogs. This is very easy to do without templates, but it just seems cleaner this way. So friends: I will add links to you soon.
I also need to submit a feature-request for Camino: Spellchecking in the browser. Who knows, maybe I can even help with implementing it. It shouldn't be too difficult, I think. Safari, unlike Camino seems to use Cocoa text fields for HTML forms, which makes spellchecking very simple. I wonder why Camino does not do this. Maybe it just deactives the extra features of the text fields. If I had spellchecking, I could write blogentries faster, and with fewer errors.
