Philosophy of the Matrix

Today I found this great quote, about how our world itself is deceptive, and how in science and everywhere else, things are not as they appear. It compares our struggle against this deception, to Neo's struggle to make people aware of the Matrix.
We can see the very development of philosophy, art, religion, science, and technology as all stemming from a drive to "free humanity" from such deception and enslavement, as part of a struggle to achieve the position of a Morpheus or a Neo.
Among other things I also found one of the best philosophical analysis of the Matrix Reloaded. Caution spoilers. Posted by Can Sar at May 21, 2003 12:50 AM to category Miscellaneous | TrackBack
