UNIX Networking

I have been feeling very unmotivated today, for a number of reasons. The last half hour, however, I have been reading about UNIX Networking. Although the article was very brief, I am fascinated by it. Fortunately I already have Advanced Programming in the UNIX Environment and the TCP/IP Illustrated series, and I will read it this summer, if I find a bit of time, during the first few weeks. I am very much looking forward to learning more about this, because I have been feeling lazy, but the majority of my time will of course be spent on just enjoying my time at home, with my family and love.

Hi Can,

You need to update! Dude! I mean, granted, seeing The Matrix like seven kabillion times in the last few days isn't exactly weird CS-techie stuff or Sci-Fi shows, but that doesn't mean you can't, you know, put in stuff about how you've seen it so much and the like. It's very much so journal-worth. But just talk about it without spoiling it for folks like myself who've not seen it. We'll get around to it, and then we'll understand all the vague references you'll make and then we'll feel all special 'cause we're "In" on the whole Matrix thing. Yay.

Cheers,

Lora
