Pinnacles:  Citadel   8/12/90

Sunday:  Pinnacles with David Rubine.  Hot, but probably not 100 degrees this
time.  Started by freeing an old bolt route near trail (5.10d).  Then hiked up
to Citadel for shady climbing.  David took another try on direct start to
Power Tools -- I clipped first bolt for him, but he fell.  Did Berserker (5.10c
), 3 pitches, might have been the 3rd ascent.  Still some loose holds and
cleaning of moss -- quite scary.  Also, no anchor for the top (crux) pitch.
After recovering, we decided against doing the other unverified route to its
left (too much punishment!).  David took another try at Power Tools direct and
got it.  Renamed it Power Corrupts, 5.12a/b.  Also TRed Peon's Delight 5.10a
before leaving for cooler zones.
