Lover's Leap w/ Dolginows, Pinnacles: Frog (hot)  7/21-22/90

Saturday:  kid's expedition to Lover's Leap with Doug + Angie + Alex
Dolginow.  Did first pitches of Bear's Reach 5.6, Fantasia 5.9, Fear No Evil
5.8.  Kids had a good time, beating the heat with trips to the stream/lake.
I got a sunburn, added a second belay bolt to Fear No Evil, and ran into
Don Snyder (of Nose in a Day, Salathe' in 18 hours, Mescalito in 5.5 days,
etc. fame).  John -- he said he broke the rivet 2 pitches below the Bismark,
and the party ahead of him broke a bolt on the pitch below Molar Traverse
(where you had to "cast" with the Fish hook).
Sunday:  Roasted myself in 100-degree heat at the Pinnacles with David Rubine
and Tim Reid (new climbing ranger).  We checked out the routes on the Frog,
and David TRed Vigilante in the fading light.  Planning to have guidebook done
by 9/1 or 10/1, so it should be in stores by 1/1 or 2/1.
