Reserve some patience for the drive. There are many places to get lost. Total driving time from the pavement end at Winton Road to the cliff-top parking is about 35 minutes.
From the parking, a 10-minute walk on an abandoned logging road and trail leads to the top of the cliff. The steep approach gully is on the right. Follow the loose, sandy gully, equipped with fixed rope, until you can skirt left along the base of the cliff. Total walking time from car to the base is around 30 minutes.
Hidden Wall faces northeast and gets morning sun. At 5400', it is a prime summer crag, although you can climb into November depending on weather. Closed for golden eagle/peregrine falcon nesting January 1-June 30. The 7N09 road has a sign which says it is closed for the winter starting on November 15.
