Cragmont Rock

The rock here is Northbrae Soda Rhyolite that is volcanic in origin. It is very similar to rock at the Pinnacles National Monument south of Hollister. This rock is in a public park and has some of the highest routes in the area. The first recorded climbs were done here in 1932.
