This page is about all the other stuff I want to put up but don't identify as philosophical.

Let's see what I have... For now, just junk, but I promise that I will sort things out in the future.

Here is a Putnam (1991, B4) question that took an entire Friday for me to solve. (In the real exam, there are 12 questions and only 6 hours.) Prove the following:
Putnam Problem
And here is my ghetto solution. (It's handwritten, since I don't really know how to type math on computers. Microsoft Word is even more ghetto.) And I am only putting it up because my handwriting is so ghetto. When I presented this solution to the people at the Stanford Putnam Seminar, Ravi said that this was really elegant and much simpler than what he did in his Putnam book. (Did I mention that Ravi is really cool? And no, not for praising my solution) But then some Singaporean IMO silver medalist dude simplified it even more... Oh well, maths is maths.

Here are some favorites from the days that I used to write for Stanford Daily.
