US Census Atlas published

The US Census Bureau recently published a new Census Atlas with 2000 census data. I can be downloaded as PDF here. The 300 page publication contains over 700 maps. Granularity varies from state to census-tract level. Topics covered include migration, demographic information, and economic data. Data from earlier censuses are included, going as far back as 1790, which provides context and historical perspective. From the website: “The book is modern, colorful, and includes a variety of map styles and data symbolization techniques.” It would be even better, if the data tables for those maps were included.
